Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS) is a branch of Daikin Europe NV (DENV) located in Warsaw. As a competency center we aim to drive process transformation – optimization, standardization and automation – across supply, service, master data, controlling, financial reporting and HR.
Daikin Europe is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd. and a leading provider of heating, cooling, ventilation, air purification and refrigeration technology. We design, manufacture and market a broad portfolio of equipment and tailored solutions for residential, commercial and industrial customers across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare management and headquarters reports (estimated results, forecasts, preliminary results), monitor daily and monthly deviations, support compliance reporting (JSOX), and ensure data quality and deadlines.
- Prepare sales and gross‑margin analysis reports to support senior and local sales teams in identifying trends and informing campaign strategies.
- Contribute to the creation of the yearly budget and follow‑up of sales actions: prepare annual pricing and discount structures, implement them in systems, and collaborate with product managers on pricing and catalogue updates.
- Act as a key user of SAP, Webshop and CRM systems, providing ongoing departmental support, handling inquiries and supporting process standardisation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales managers to plan, launch and monitor sales campaigns, providing analytical support.
- Track KPIs (new customers, visits, discounts, profitability, quotations, pick‑up rate) and report status to senior and headquarters stakeholders.
- Gather and create reports on market and competitor data to inform strategic decision‑making.
Our Requirements
- Master’s degree in Economics, Business or a related field.
- 5 years of experience, of which at least 3 years in a controller or analytical role (e.g. Big 4) with exposure to top‑management positions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a complex, fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Demonstrated flexibility to handle ad‑hoc requests and strict deadlines.
- Expertise in MS Office, especially Excel – ability to create and maintain complex reports.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting principles is an advantage.
- Proficient in English.
- Willingness to travel 1 month per year.
