Sales Manager (IT solutions for the energy industry)
Place of work: Gdańsk (hybrid)
For our client - Scandinavian IT company, we are looking for Sales Manager for development CEE Energy Industry market.
If you are a result-driven and a tech-savvy individual with experience in theenergy markets , who wants to join a winning team, this is the position for you.
In this role you will help us to grow our CEE market share through systematic lead generation and proactive sales closing, you will work together with highly motivated, competent sales, marketing and product colleagues as well as other internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver customer value. Your focus will be on selling Energy software and market data in CEE.
Main responsibilities:
- Create and maintain account plans
- Be a trusted advisor to the customers and prospects by understanding their business and advising on how our client solutions can help them
- Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, from lead generation, identification of the business issue and how our client can bring business value, to expectation management and deal closure
- Present, promote and sell solutions and services using value-based arguments
- Generate a qualified pipeline of opportunities with existing clients and prospects, and maintain the status, the forecast, and progress in our CRM system
- Negotiate and close agreements within the given proxies and in compliance with our clients sales process
- Avoid customer churn by involving and supporting the right specialist / support resources to improve customer satisfaction
What you need to succeed?
- A degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., business, economics, engineering)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the energy markets - must have
- Commercial attitude with capability to identify added value for customer and unique selling points
- Interest and expertise in selling complex software products and services
- Intellectually curious, competitive, with strongly developed negotiation and presentation skills and a customer orientation
- Ability to learn fast and work independently
- Driven by passion and inspired by challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1)
- Experience in selling SaaS (Software as a Service) is an advantage
