Sales Manager



Your responsibilities

  • Being accountable for the sales of Sibelco group products and achieving maximum profitable growth and sales objectives (volume, Net Sales, and Gross Margin) in line with Sibelco’s vision, strategic objectives & policies in Central Europe
  • Visiting customers and potential customers, identifying new sales opportunities to achieve the highest value, commercialize new products and develop sales into new applications
  • Building up the necessary market intelligence by developing a thorough understanding of the market, including customer needs, competitors, trends, impact of local legislation to retain and extend the Customer portfolio.
  • Develop and achieve budgeted sales targets year after year
  • Set prices and payment terms in line with Sibelco’s pricing and payment structures for the region and achieve the end financial targets, receivables as well as payment terms
  • Partner together with Operations & Supply Chain with on time information to schedule the activities for the short/medium/long term period

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Chemistry, Engineering or other relevant fields
  • 5 years prior experience in a sales role (experience within minerals, glass or coating & polymers industry(s) is an advantage)
  • Proven track record of gaining and maintaining lasting customer relationships
  • Experience selling a technical product portfolio is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities & work independently as well as contribute to the broader team
  • Keen interest to continue to learn & grow professionally
  • Self-drive: High-energy, creative & resourceful self-starter a pragmatic problem solver
  • Results-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong sense of accountability as well commitment
  • Full proficiency in Polish as well as English

The Sales Manager will be supporting the business lines Coating & Polymers and Glass production and will be responsible to achieve maximum profitable growth &sales objectives in line with Sibelco’s vision and strategic objectives in Central Europe with the main focus on Poland but also including the following countries: Hungary, Czechia, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania as well as Estonia. You will be supporting on both Sibelco as well as Sibelco Green Solutions and selling industrial minerals as well as glass recycling.

The Sales Manager will be responsible to identify new sales opportunities, commercialize new products and understanding the market and building the necessary market intelligence to retaining as well as extending the Customer portfolio.

This position will require travelling 2-3 days per week across Poland as well as occasionally across Central Europe. The remaining time will be in home-office ideally based in Central Poland.
