Our client is currently seeking a pivotal individual for the position of Sales Manager within their organization. The client is a global leader specializing in the provision of road equipment for intelligent services and solutions. The companys portfolio includes the production of forestry cranes, recycling cranes, and loading lifts.
What we expect
- at least a bachelors degree (commercial, mechanical engineer, production engineer or administrative subjects)
- a solid track record of managing sales and driving sales growth
- at least 10 years of relevant business / product experience (e.g. truck industry or load load handling equipment) related to sales
- experience in dealer management is a must
- ability to work in an international business environment / in a matrix organization
- proven ability to drive and develop equipment business sales and profitability
- proven ability to develop and manage a team of sales representatives
- results and achievement driven and eager to create long term relationships
- high integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- strong business mind-set with financial skills
- fluency in English and the local language is required (all communication with customers is in the local language and communication with Divisions is in English)
- knowledge of MS Office

Your tasks
- plan, develop, direct, execute and monitor sales activities to achieve established sales targets
- leading a team of sales professionals and managing a network of partners to drive sales for the entire company’s portfolio
- work closely with services to create a strong customer experience
- develop equipment sales budgets, KPI and plans
- development of key sales processes
- manage and develop pipeline of orders and implement efficient use of CRM tools to support the sales work
- negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization
- prepare and monitor sales forecast, revenues, prices, discounts, margins and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas and adapt
- manage a network of partners with a structured dealer management approach
- coordinate together with the Service department to create joint plans, activities and dealer management to create a strong customer experience
- develop a key understanding of competitor activities and formulate counter strategies
- take responsibility for further developing offering together with company’s Division
