Sales Forecasting Analyst (f/m/x)
in Mars Wrigley

What would be your key responsibilities?
- Create an aggregated demand forecast (0-18 periods) using customer plans based on customers’ demand and supply chain data, historical data, best practice planning methodology, accurate base and promotional forecasts (incl. coherent promo plan in PowerApp TPM vs JBP), validated building blocks (Portfolio, Innovations, Media, …), Sales LE tracking & reporting.
- Drive annual bottom-up Sales Account Plan forecast incl. cooperation with SDL/Activity/MCL on assumptions as well as on base clean-up.
- Hold the CMOS meetings and discussions leading to the decision-making necessary to recommend the short and mid-term customer forecasts (Sales Account Plan).
- Intervene in pre-DMR and DMR (Step 2 S&OP) meetings to present the consolidated customer forecasts for his field of activity (Sales Account Plan), support decision-making, and guarantee the circulation of information relating to the Sales Account Plan between the different meetings.
- Collaborate with Market Collaboration Lead to ensure the agreed demand plan translates into production requirements and the product is delivered on time, in full to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with sales to monitor demand plan execution and factors that influence forecast.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders internally to navigate Customer challenges and provide solutions as required to maximize on-shelf availability.
- Analyze forecast performance and operational accurate demand forecasts.
- Manage and influence customers to drive business performance and proactively report on key KPI’s ensuring delivery of key customer service targets whilst driving efficiency in the supply chain.
- Utilize operational reviews, supply chain trends and sales achievements to proactively gain insights, identify issues and propose improvements solutions together with MCL. This includes accurate identification, analysis and reporting of data, loyalty, market, new product forecast, pipeline fill, and cannibalization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Sales Account planning process and S&OP+. The Sales Planning Analyst is to identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives of the processes in which he participates, both internally and externally, as well as intervene/lead on ad-hoc projects like TPM tool implementation for the market.
What are we looking for?
- Min 3-years of analytical experience gained in an FMCG environment with a demonstrated ability to act with the customer and company in mind.
- University degree is required.
- Good numeracy and analytical skills and experience of applying a wide range of analytics that drive insights and actions for complex customers and a variety of business situations.
- Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Very good Polish and English language skills required.
- Experience in problem solving, with the ability to use processes/tools/systems to unlock knowledge and generate insights and develop solutions for a wide range of customers and issues.
- A good understanding and application of the sales cycle, trends and broader business implications to making judgments and recommendations for action.
- Experience of building relationships in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience in areas such as (but not exclusive to): analyst roles, supply, planning sales operations and Customer management, projects’ leadership as an advantage.
