Sales Finance Controller
Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW) Global Sales and Customer Success (GSCS) Finance is responsible for all controlling and reporting requirements within the GSCS organization, acting as trusted business advisor to the sales organization on deal design and profitability measures and gate keeper for forecasting/budget and reporting topics. The area of responsibility within the department is for the territories Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We as Sales Finance are strongly interaction with the sales and service organization, are liaising with Sales and Finance Operations, Accounting and Controlling, FP&A and other global organizations.
As partners to local executive management, we leverage our expertise in a wide range of topics to create an impact that drives changes with improved financial results within the cross-border organization.
You are the Sales Finance Controller across all DACH Verticals and Industries to ensure forecast accuracy for all cost types
You monitor cost deviations during month and quarter end closes, and you provide analytics frequently and, on an ad-hoc basis
You ensure correctness and completeness of all cost types for month and quarter end, you ensure clean books and records, and you prepare accrual instructions as needed
You create and update your management reporting packages for your areas of responsibility
You are co-responsible for the annual budget process for which you liaise with Zone FP&A, Sales Operations, and your Sales Finance coworkers.
You are leveraging from automated solutions as well as from internal tools and systems to produce accurate results and meaningful analysis.
You are a driver for process and system improvements as well as AI driven analytics
You are participating in local and global projects to further drive efficiency during the organization.
Degree in Business Administration or Economics (or equivalent), preferably with focus in Controlling or Accounting
Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to interact with various organizational levels and open minded to change
Strong resilience and ability to turn around results quickly
Independent worker with little supervision
Open minded team player acting as role model in a cross-border team
Affinity to work with tools and applications (SAP, PowerBI, Tableau, Hyperion Planning, Excel, ppt)
Critical thinker with sharp analytical skills and attention to quality and details
Fluency in English and German language
