For our Client, a company producing special lubricants, we are looking for a person to hold a Sales Engineer position.

Key responsibilities:
  • Customer consultation and support, being their competent contact person
  • Order acquisition, securing and expanding business (B2B sales, heavy industry)
  • Turnover responsibility for the sales area (Podkarpacie, Małopolska, Śląsk)
  • Finding out about market potentials and target groups
  • Acquisition of new customers by doing the groundwork and making a targeted approach to competitors’ positions
  • Product and target group-oriented acquisition
  • Initiating product development and new application opportunities
  • Gathering information, particularly about the market position and competitor situation 
  • Planning quantities and sales as part of operative planning and reassessment
  • Product and company presentation
  • Participating in trade shows and visiting exhibitions
  • Contributing to the launch of new products and conducting testing at customers’ sites
  • Reporting about important customer developments and market trends in the form of call reports and forwarding these to the Management
  • Conducting customer trainings
  • Weekly tour planning to ensure optimum customer support, i.e., maximum active sales time with the customer
  • Permanent control of sales and customer targets and monthly comments on sales and market developments to Management

Requirements:
  • Engineering Degree as mechanical, chemical or process engineer
  • Strong experience in technical sales components as bearings, chains, gearboxes, etc or machinery/equipments (about 5-15 years)
  • Good command of English language (B2), very good communication skills/active listener 
  • Willingness to travel inside the sales area (70-80 %, 4 days/week in travelling and 1 day home office)
  • Team-oriented person with social competences in dealing with foreign cultures
  • Strategic mindset, creativity, focus and self-driven, customer orientation skills 
  • Business Development experience is a plus
  • Class B driving licence
  • Sales-oriented attitude, open to new experience and contacts, readiness to business travel and willingness to sell high-quality products 
  • Computer literacy to work with the sales information system, specifically Lotus CRM, Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point), Windows, SAP, ERP etc.
