Position: Sales and Market Development Specialist – Irrigation Systems



Eastern Europe North

Location: Poland (remote work / home office + 70% travel)

Employment type: Full-time, employment contract

Reports to: International Sales Manager – Central and Northern Europe





An international company specializing in professional irrigation systems is looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales and Market Development Specialist – Irrigation Systems to develop its business in the Northern Eastern European region.



We are seeking a candidate with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, who enjoys fieldwork and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will engage with contractors, municipalities, private companies, and designers to promote, support, and sell professional irrigation products.





Key Responsibilities:


  • Promote and sell irrigation solutions to contractors, public institutions, private companies, and specifiers.
  • Demonstrate product benefits, applications, and ease of use/troubleshooting.
  • Visit landscaping sites to generate and follow up on sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Distribution Manager and key distributors to secure sales growth.
  • Participate in events, demo days, trade shows, and customer trainings.
  • Provide basic technical support in the local language via phone/email.
  • Build long-term relationships by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong client visibility.
  • Manage customer database for communication and marketing purposes.


Requirements:


  • University degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or a related role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and independent, with a proactive mindset
  • Fluent in Polish and English; additionally fluent in Czech or Slovak
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Willing to travel up to 70% of the time




Preferred:


  • Experience in irrigation (design, installation, or sales)
