Summary
The Sales & Business Development Engineer ensures the commercial development of Mobile Water Solutions activities and brand awareness in their region. The role includes prospecting new customers, preparing proposals with process experts, negotiating prices, developing sales strategies, managing the customer portfolio, and ensuring commercial follow‑up to create lifelong customers.
The position reports to the Business Development Manager, NSI Central Europe, and is based at the NSI Central Europe office in Piastów. Frequent domestic and occasional international travel is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct strategic sales and negotiations.
- Establish sales plans for the dedicated area with support from the Division Sales Manager.
- Maintain contact with existing customers and build long‑term partnerships.
- Calculate prices based on the standard cost sheet.
- Prepare proposals (technical & process support from the Europe Operations Team).
- Identify and prospect new potential customers in the assigned region.
- Implement specific business development plans (priority customers, engineering houses & EPCs, IEX, etc.).
- Identify new markets or fields of opportunity.
- Contribute proactively to business & profitability growth.
- Build brand awareness and support marketing plans (support from the Europe Marketing Team).
- Participate in communication events and actions (webinars, seminars, exhibitions, press articles, technical papers).
- Assist in developing systems and procedures for Mobile Water Solutions.
- Provide adequate auditing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Adhere to and enforce procedures outlined within the quality system.
- Ensure adherence to QHSE policies and standards by fostering a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Report incidents, near‑misses, or hazards promptly and assist in investigation processes.
- Prepare and actively participate in sales team reviews & reports, using the CRM system.
Job Requirements
- Extensive working experience in sales & business development in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
- Proven capability to work across cultures, borders, and different methods of executing business within an international team.
- Proficiency in English and Polish to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical personnel.
- Valid driver’s license for driving in the region.
