The Opportunity
For our Core Diagnostics Division CDx, we are looking for a talented professional located in Central Poland (Mazowieckie or Łódzkie) to join our team as a Sales Ambassador.
The Abbott Ambassador is responsible for managing and expanding existing accounts, improving customer relationships, increasing profitability, and handling first‑line service.
What You’ll Do
- Full revenue responsibility for 2–4 MM USD, including forecasting and target achievement.
- Act as trusted partner and advisor as Abbott’s main contact to customers.
- Manage and drive development of accounts, including strategic account management and post‑sales implementation.
- New product and menu expansion targeting and sales support.
- Prepare and execute regular customer business reviews.
- Manage routine renewals of base business accounts and negotiate long‑term contracts.
- Provide first‑line application support and troubleshooting.
- Implement new assays.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to customers.
- Oversee progress of cross‑functional implementation team (post‑sale) with project manager.
- Success measured by service level achievement, economic profitability, customer satisfaction (NPS), contract renewal rate and managed revenue.
Required Qualifications and Background
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in biomedical, electrical, mechanical, medical technology or commercial is preferred.
- Prior experience in diagnostic or medical devices industry with emphasis on managing & expanding existing accounts, improving relationships and profitability.
- Proven track record in similar position supported by management and customer references.
- Successful engagement with customers, specifically business management and key stakeholders.
- Excellent industry knowledge.
- Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics.
- Strong solution selling and relationship building skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues.
- Long‑term, strategic focus on account.
- Fluent in local language and English; additional languages advantageous.
- Willingness to travel frequently (average ~3 days per week).
