Xfive is looking for a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to join our crew.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a mid/senior-level Ruby on Rails Developer who’s ready to go beyond just writing code. In this role, you’ll have a chance to collaborate directly with clients.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience as a RoR Developer.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (at least B2 level) and the ability to communicate directly with clients during online meetings.
• Verbal and written communication skills in Polish (at least B1 level).
• Experience in integrating applications with third-party APIs.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Medium/advanced relational databases design knowledge .
• Ability to write unit, integration, and other tests.
• Extensive Git knowledge.
• Availability of at least 20 hours a week .

Bonus if you have:

• Knowledge about the security of web applications.
• TDD/BDD experience.
• Knowledge of performance optimization of applications.
• Familiarity with AWS , Google Cloud .
• Familiarity with platforms like Heroku , Vercel .
• Familiarity with Gitlab CI or other CI systems.
• Experience in working with React or NextJS .
• Experience with NodeJS .
• Basic knowledge of Linux system administration and project deployment.
• Experience with ElasticSearch .
