Project scope:

• Continuously improve and evolve the core backend services that power our platform to meet business and product needs
• Participate in technical design discussions to define the best approaches and trade-offs for implementing new features and capabilities
• Apply and champion best practices in software development, including writing clean, maintainable code, testing, and ensuring high performance and scalability
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Content, SEO) to ensure a collaborative, product-focused engineering environment
• Play an active role in optimizing and scaling our global products, focusing on performance, observability, and improving development and team efficiency

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Deep understanding of backend development, databases, and system integrations.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes, working iteratively to meet product and business objectives.
• English: B2, C1, C2

Nice to have:

• Experience or knowledge in Elixir, or a strong desire to learn and work with the language in a production environment
