Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end Record-to-Report cycle, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, HGB).
Ensure adherence to legal and corporate accounting policies, maintaining the highest level of compliance and internal control standards.
Oversee the general ledger process, coordinating regular account reconciliations (bank accounts, receivables, payables, provisions) and promptly addressing discrepancies.
Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, proactively identifying and resolving accounting issues to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Prepare detailed management reports and financial analyses, and support external audits as well as tax reviews, effectively communicating with stakeholders across various functions.
Drive process optimization initiatives within the RTR area, identifying opportunities for efficiency and supporting the implementation of new ERP systems.
Collaborate closely in French with international business units, vendors, and other teams to ensure consistent application of best practices and contribute to the development of shared service center activities.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, ideally in a multinational environment.
Fluency in French (C1 level) and English (B2 level or higher) required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification is a plus.
Proven knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, HGB) and familiarity with local statutory requirements.
Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, combined with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to lead by example, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
