Responsibilities

  • performing general ledger accounting in support of period end close activities and finance system administration / housekeeping
  • data extraction and analysis in support of financial adjustments or close monitoring and oversight
  • financial control activities in relation to treasury and cash management, fixed asset accounting and close processes
  • preparation of financial analysis and reporting in line with applicable GAAP to meet both internal and external requirements
  • collaboration with business finance, auditors and tax advisors to support delivery of GBS service, compliance and assurance obligation

What we expect

  • at least 3 years of experience in general accounting
  • proficiency in English and Turkish
  • a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • experience in financial transaction processing in a shared services environment
  • skills in financial/cost accounting, management accounting, billing, cash collections, invoicing, and more
  • good IT skills, including SAP and MS Office (Excel)
  • ability to process high volumes of repeatable tasks with accuracy, prioritizing effectively to maximize output
  • strong focus on user experience
