Responsibilities
- performing general ledger accounting in support of period end close activities and finance system administration / housekeeping
- data extraction and analysis in support of financial adjustments or close monitoring and oversight
- financial control activities in relation to treasury and cash management, fixed asset accounting and close processes
- preparation of financial analysis and reporting in line with applicable GAAP to meet both internal and external requirements
- collaboration with business finance, auditors and tax advisors to support delivery of GBS service, compliance and assurance obligation
What we expect
- at least 3 years of experience in general accounting
- proficiency in English and Turkish
- a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- experience in financial transaction processing in a shared services environment
- skills in financial/cost accounting, management accounting, billing, cash collections, invoicing, and more
- good IT skills, including SAP and MS Office (Excel)
- ability to process high volumes of repeatable tasks with accuracy, prioritizing effectively to maximize output
- strong focus on user experience
