Our client is a global leader in animal health, operating a modern finance hub in Warsaw. The finance teams support multiple international entities across EMEA and LATAM and ensure high quality financial reporting and compliance with local statutory requirements. The environment promotes collaboration with global finance teams, continuous improvement, and ownership of key financial reporting processes.
Responsibilities
• Prepare statutory financial statements for selected entities in accordance with IFRS or Local GAAP requirements.
• Identify and post statutory adjustments between group accounting standards and local reporting requirements.
• Manage reconciliation bridges between US GAAP / IFRS and Local GAAP for assigned countries.
• Collaborate closely with local finance teams to ensure business activities are accurately reflected in local ledgers.
• Support the external audit process by preparing documentation and responding to auditor queries.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and provide analysis of balance sheet fluctuations.
• Maintain and improve documentation of statutory reporting processes and controls.
• Contribute to process improvements within a growing Finance Center of Excellence.
Requirements
• Experience in statutory accounting, financial reporting or audit.
• Practical knowledge of IFRS and/or Local GAAP standards.
• Experience in preparation of statutory financial statements and working with external auditors.
• Analytical mindset and ability to work independently within a global finance environment.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Proficiency in English at minimum B2+ level.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or progress towards them are considered an advantage.
