In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the month-end closing processes and all related General Accounting activities across the LATAM and NA regions, collaborating closely with local affiliates.**Your Responsibilities:*** Perform month-end close responsibilities, including journal entries, financial analysis, and ensuring adherence to timelines.* Prepare account reconciliations in accordance with internal methodology and maintain accurate documentation.* Work closely with local affiliate finance to ensure activities are properly reflected in financial statements and prepare necessary accounting entries.* Identify exceptions, determine underlying causes, and escalate as appropriate, while supporting internal and external audit activities.* Demonstrate a strong continuous improvement approach, actively identifying process improvements and maintaining effective communication across a global organization.**What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):*** **Education:** University Degree in Business and/or Accounting (or equivalent work experience)* **Required Experience:** A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in RTR or a Finance function in an SSC/BPO environment.* **Top 2 skills:** Knowledge of SAP and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.**What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):*** Knowledge of general accounting processes in a multinational environment.* Innovative thinking and a process improvement mindset.* Proven control orientation based on prior operational business roles.* Ability to work across cultures and diverse management styles, with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.* Professional certification such as CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or Chartered Accountant, and experience with OneStream.**Additional Information:*** **Travel:** Not applicable* **Location:** Warsaw, Poland**Elanco Benefits and Perks:**We offer a comprehensive benefits package focusing on financial, physical, and mental well-being while encouraging our employees to pursue our purpose!
