General Ledger Accountant located in Warsaw

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance of the Polish entity with accounting standards (local GAAP, US GAAP).
• Perform statistical reporting for authorities.
• Handle indirect and direct tax reporting (VAT, CIT, PIT, WHT).
• Manage Fixed Assets Accounting.
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with SSC.
• Participate in internal and statutory audits.
• Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements.
• Provide tax and accounting support to other departments.
• Participate in preparing Transfer Pricing documentation.
• Maintain data, forms, and reports within financial systems.
• Prepare reports to provide management with actionable information.
• Monitor changes in legal and tax requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-5 years of professional experience in accounting (experience in RtR department is a plus).
• Fluent in English.
• Highly developed communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of SAP is a benefit.
