Overview
The RtR Accountant will perform within the Companys values and culture. With a one team approach and a passion for results we develop the ability to think and act like the owner of our company business. The RTR team plays a significant role performing month end activities, reconciling balance sheet accounts, supporting internal and external audits in order to present accurate financial information.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing journal entries (e.g. calculation and booking of accruals/provisions)
- Processing fixed assets transactions
- Processing payroll files
- Adhering to a strict month end closing schedule
- Reconciling general ledger accounts
- Analyzing and researching as needed to ensure accurate financial information
- Solving problems, recognizing continuous improvement areas within the process, taking part in process improvement projects
Background
- 1-3 years of professional experience in finance and accounting
- Master’s Degree in either Finance/Accounting/Economics or completed accounting courses
- Very good working knowledge of Excel
- Fluent English skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- SAP/QAD knowledge would be an asset
