We are looking for aRisk Systems & Process Analystto join us at this pivotal moment, share our vision, and help shape the future of European banking.

What you will be doing?

As aRisk Systems & Process Analyst, you will serve as the technical architect of our credit risk assessment solutions for the SME and Micro digital lending space. You will act as the operational bridge between the Business Risk team and the Development teams.

Technical Requirements:

  • Translate business credit policies and risk requirements into detailed technical specifications, User Stories, and tasks for software developers.

  • Prepare technical requirements for implementation of key credit process elements, risk engine, analyst panel and related applications

  • Manage the backlog for technical implementations, ensuring developers have clear acceptance criteria for every logic change or new feature

Process Design & Data Flow:

  • Map technical data flows and integration points between the Risk Engine, Analyst Panel, and external data sources.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize system performance and reduce latency in the credit decision process.

  • Design data structures necessary to ensure effective data flow through applications

Testing & Validation:

  • Conduct technical validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all changes in the risk engine and analyst panel before they go live

  • Use SQL to verify that data is being captured and processed correctly according to the risk logic

Skills you should have

  • Systems Analysis & Requirements Engineering: Proven ability to break down complex business problems into granular technical tasks (User Stories) for development teams
  • Credit Risk Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of credit risk processes, scoring and decisioning rules, specifically in the context of Digital/SME lending
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SQL to query databases, analyze logs and validate logic implementations. Knowledge of Python applications will be a benefit
  • Experience with Decision Engines: Experience working with Risk Engines or similar decisioning platforms
  • Process Modeling: Ability to visualise complex flows and dependencies (e.g., using BPMN or UML) to align business and technical stakeholders
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system behaviour and define robust logic for edge cases
  • Educational background: Degree in Computer Science, Quantitative Methods or a related technical field
  • Communication: Fluency in English is required to effectively collaborate with international cross‑functional teams
