In a nutshell

Primary area of focus is to lead and execute the delivery of technical solutions that are fundamental to Credit Risk (and wider), including projects and analysis activities to time sensitive deadlines. Risk System Analyst is responsible for an execution in core Risk systems, BEE and GDS, that are already used in most of markets. Risk Systems Analyst is going to work as part of the Credit Risk hub team and Credit Feature Team supporting the entire IPF Digital business and will report directly to Senior Credit Risk Manager.

Your daily tasks:

1. Author business rules in a Decision Engine to improve long term sustainable profitability and success of the business
2. Seek for constant improvement in decision modelling tools, practices and solutions to constantly improving the capability of credit decisions
3. Support the development and implementation of models, scorecards and strategies through software change in the management of credit risk
4. Contribute to prioritisation of proposed projects and ad hoc activities to ensure effective resource utilisation
5. Work with the Credit Feature Team (IT Development team) to create test cases and test sheets for automated testing, which provide fully consistent development with business expectations
6. Share system knowledge and best practice with team members, to provide full developments exchange and system business continuity

Skills

• High level ability to interpret performance data; evaluate the impact and risks of change
• Spot issues and opportunities and act upon them quickly!
• Creativity and an aptitude for problem solving
• Flexible – happy to roll your sleeves up when needed

Knowledge

• Knowledge and practical experience of the tools available to support the management of credit risk
• Solid work experience in a combined environment with rules harvesting, rules requirements gathering or decision modelling

Experience

• Experience of successfully implementing credit risk systems
• Experience gained within a digital financial services environment

Qualifications

• Understanding and demonstrable application of the basic principles of decision engine technologies; intermediate level of Excel, intermediate level of SQL

Other

• Fluent in verbal and written business English
• Able to travel internationally for business meetings as required
