Job Description
- Advise the General Manager and executive leadership on risk policies, identification, assessment, and decision-making within the defined international risk appetite.
- Maintain and monitor the countrys Risk Appetite statement and tolerance levels, proposing adjustments when internal or external conditions change.
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of the global Risk Governance Framework and ensure alignment with local operations.
- Oversee the Country Risk Committee and manage governance for key functions, including Clinical, Finance (SOX), IT, Legal, Operations, Compliance, and People Services.
- Provide second-line assurance over operational, financial, clinical, legal, and IT risks, integrating them into a unified framework.
- Partner with Functional Leaders to strengthen risk capabilities, deliver training, and embed risk culture across the organization.
- Support Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk activities, ensuring effective follow-up, reporting, and action plan implementation.
- Contribute to strategic planning and M&A due diligence by aligning business growth with the organizations overall risk appetite and governance standards.
The Successful Applicant
- Prior experience in Risk Management or Internal Audit or Corporate Governance in an international company
- Qualification or academic education in Risk Management an advantage
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior management and diverse teams across different regions.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Psychology or Social science or a related field. A Masters degree is advantageous.
- High proficiency in English and Polish, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to align risk management with organisational strategy and business goals.
- Demonstrated leadership in building teams and fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
