Risk Analyst (with experience in Models Validation or Development) Miejsce pracy: Wrocław Technologies we use Expected SQL Microsoft Power BI Your responsibilities As a Risk Analyst within, you are expected to take part in general team Risk Control projects in a broad sense, but the main area of responsibility will be: •Validation and performance monitoring of credit risk models, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models under IFRS 9 and Loss Given Default (LGD) models. •Supporting validation of other internal models (IRRBB, CSRBB, Pillar 2). •Analysis, controls and reporting of credit risks throughout the Group from a second line of defence perspective. Main responsibilities Together with other team members you will work on: •Validate and monitor credit risk models to ensure accuracy, stability, and compliance with regulatory standards. •Perform independent model reviews, challenge assumptions, and assess model performance. •Support model development teams by providing feedback and recommendations for improvements. •Prepare validation reports and communicate findings to senior management and relevant committees. •Analysis, controls and internal reporting of credit risk. •Contribute to risk control projects, including stress testing. •Monitor, assess and control the Group’s risk appetite limits. •Provide support and assurance to the Board and senior management on risk issues. Our requirements •Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in risk management, credit risk modelling, or model validation. •Knowledge of IFRS 9 ECL framework, credit risk parameters and regulatory requirements. •Experience with model validation techniques, back-testing, and performance monitoring. •Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel; knowledge of Power BI or statistical tools (e.g., R, Python) is an advantage. •Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. •Fluent in English. •Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, finance, mathematics, or a related field.
