Revenue Growth Senior Manager, Central Eastern Europe

The Marketing team is the company’s driving force of customer acquisition and retention, critical in meeting growth targets across multiple geographies. We are now seeking a dynamic and results-driven Revenue Growth Senior Manager for the CEE region , responsible for spearheading our customer acquisition and retention, and cementing our place as a leader in the remittance market. This role is pivotal in driving our revenue targets, while being the voice of the market within the company. Key markets managed are migrant communities from Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Central Asia and the Baltics, living elsewhere in Europe and sending money back home.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Revenue Growth Senior Manager, CEE:

  • Revenue Ownership : Lead revenue-generating initiatives for the send to the CEE hubs (with a big focus on growing the Ukraine community), responsible for hitting aggressive monthly active user (MAU) and new customer acquisition targets. Collaborate with colleagues in our performance and CRM teams to build and optimise impactful localised campaigns that drive results within CPA targets.
  • Market Strategy Development : Craft and implement a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy that aligns with TransferGo’s overall objectives, tailored to the markets nuances.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Represent the market with internal teams such as product, pricing, operations, compliance, banking & infrastructure, and customer service to identify gaps causing friction in market growth, prioritise them, and secure the necessary support.
  • Partnership Development : Identify and establish strategic partnerships to drive customer acquisition and revenue opportunities for people from migrant communities based in Europe.
  • Community Engagement: Spearhead community engagement efforts to build brand loyalty and drive word-of-mouth referrals via online and offline channels.
  • Team Leadership : Lead a small high-performance team, ensuring the resource focuses on doing the work that has the highest impact in accelerating market growth.
  • Data-Driven Insights : Utilise market data and customer insights to inform strategies and decision-making, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market potential.
  • Performance Reporting : Regularly report on market performance, insights, and strategic adjustments to senior leadership.

You’ll report to our Chief Marketing Officer.

Here’s what we’d love from our new Revenue Growth Senior Manager, CEE:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Country/Regional Revenue Leader, leading marketing and business development, with a proven track record in the financial services or consumer space for Ukraine and other markets in the region.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience leading a small, high-performance GTM team.
  • A doer who rolls up their sleeves and gets things done.
  • Deep understanding of the financial services market, regulatory environment, and consumer behaviour.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners in a global team.
  • Data-driven mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • Ability to be both strategic and executional, with a hands-on mentality.
  • Experience at managing budgets, aligning with finance team, and being both bold and responsible in equal measures.
  • Fluent in English and Ukrainian.

  • Experience in international money transfers to Ukraine and other countries.
  • A strong network among organisations and businesses serving migrant communities in Europe.
  • Additional languages.
