ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Retail Junior Accountant reporting directly to the Retail Team Leader. This is a local role based in Poznań. You will be responsible for daily bank statements reconciliation, AR tasks, maintenance and clarification of customer accounts, and supporting local queries within your responsibility area.

Responsibilities:

1. Daily bank statements reconciliation
2. AR tasks such as customer invoicing, posting standard accounting transactions, GL account reconciliation, regular communication with points of sale across France and the local team in France
3. Maintenance and clarification of customer accounts and outstanding items
4. Possible Record to Report (RTR) daily and month-end tasks
5. Support to any local related queries within the responsibility area
6. Assisting with team/departmental projects (may include limited travel)
7. Other ad-hoc accounting/finance tasks

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification:

1. University degree in Finance/Accounting

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
2. High level of customer service

Languages Skills:

1. Communicative English and French (B2 or higher)

Soft/Behavioral Skills:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
3. Strong organizational and time management skills
