For our research center in Krakow, Poland we are looking for a Research Team Manager to lead the Autonomous Energy Systems research team.

The team performs interdisciplinary research in a wide range of topics related to future usage of AI & ML in power systems operations, including engineering processes, quality, reliability, and asset monitoring.

Your responsibilities

1. Line management for multidisciplinary research team
2. Attracting and recruiting new talents
3. Coaching project leaders for scientific excellence and professional execution of R&D projects
4. Coaching team members to support their professional growth
5. Fostering the creation of high-value research project proposals
6. Contributing to technical work in research projects and pre-studies
7. Maintaining and developing excellent collaboration across the global research organization, relevant business units and leading universities
8. Contributing to an innovative and motivating work environment

Your background

1. You hold a PhD in relevant fields or a master with equivalent professional experience.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to manage expectations and complex interdependencies.
3. Previous experience in an industrial research environment.
4. Good knowledge of domain relevant technologies and products, and interest in new fields of research and technology.
5. Experience that demonstrates your team-oriented, innovative, and strategic working styles.
6. Data science, machine learning and power systems knowledge beneficial.
7. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
