Project No.: 101132444, HORIZON-CL2-2023-DEMOCRACY-01 program
The aim of the program is to safeguard European Union democracy by strengthening social resilience to the FIMI phenomenon (foreign information manipulation and interference—a concept coined by the European External Action Service). This objective will be achieved through targeted research into the technological and social aspects of the phenomenon, thereby deepening knowledge of the methods used to detect, categorize, analyze, and counteract FIMI. The activities will draw on already-established tools for countering disinformation, including: the DISARM Framework, the NATO-Hybrid COE Attribution Framework, STIX 2.1, OpenCTI, ABCDE.
It is particularly important to recognize the impact of TTP and shared data handling standards on the identification of FIMI actors and the positioning of TTP within broader analytical processes that are essential for developing countermeasures in this context.
