Requirements Management Engineer

Client’s profile: A worldwide leader in providing cutting-edge and sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and manage the configuration of all project-related stakeholder requirements, norms, standards, and specifications.
  • Oversee the customer compliance matrix.
  • Manage the structure of requirements and source documentation within the Requirements Management tool (Documentation Master List).
  • Define the reuse strategy for platform requirements.
  • Collaborate with development leads to establish a release-based content schedule.
  • Communicate and distribute requirements to function and feature developers.
  • Ensure traceability and consistency of requirements derived from norms, standards, and stakeholder specifications.
  • Enforce adherence to the requirements management process.
  • Define criteria for stakeholder requirements review and ensure the review process is followed.
  • Work closely with system and software architects, functional safety experts, and test engineers to incorporate downstream feedback.
  • Freeze and release requirement baselines for each system release.
  • Track progress metrics for requirements to ensure alignment with the project timeline.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of requirements across multiple projects.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in requirements development within the automotive, aviation, or a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of requirements and systems engineering principles and guidelines (e.g., INCOSE, IREB).
  • Experience using requirements management tools such as Polarion, Doors, Codebeamer, etc.
  • Familiarity with working in an ASPICE-based process environment (or similar).
