We are looking for a motivated, self-starter with SAFe experience to join our Electronics Engineering Team. The Requirements Engineer will play a crucial role in the development and completion of our projects and will support all of the scrum teams. This individual will need to be multifaceted to handle multiple stakeholders and teams with various priorities, ways of working, and team structures. This individual will need to have technical expertise to translate business requirements into technical requirements, prioritize requirements across scrum teams and stakeholders, collaborate with the Project Managers, and bring knowledge and expertise on how other companies of a similar size/setup make SAFe work, software, and engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Project Manager and key stakeholders to understand the business requirements and priorities for the project.
- Work with the Solution Architects to translate the requirements into the solution design.
- Work with the Technical Product Owner to develop the backlog to support the requirements.
- Maintain requirements traceability.
- Determine and track metrics.
- Develop user stories for the agile teams backlog leveraging SAFe principles.
- Challenge stories and the teams backlog created by the PO for their technical feasibility.
- Provide explanation and guidance for the technical requirements for the developers and act as contact person for questions.
- Apply architectural design principles provided by the Enterprise Architect and Solution Architect.
- Foster relentless improvement.
- Coach the team and provide training on SAFe ways of working/best practices.

Work Experience:
- Relevant experience in a business or executive management role.
- Proven technology portfolio and project management.
- Previous experience in managing multiple scrum teams.
- Proven experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficiency and productivity.
- Ability to influence and lead people through change.
- IT consulting experience with a focus on software and firmware development.
- Proven success in a requirements engineering role.
- Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions.
