We are looking for an experienced Reporting Specialist who will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements and ongoing cooperation with external auditors. The ideal candidate should bring hands-on experience in preparing financial statements, along with a strong understanding of accounting principles and processes—preferably gained within the Retail or FMCG sector.
In this role, it is essential to understand how operational activities across various departments—such as procurement, logistics, or sales—ultimately impact the company’s financial records. We are seeking a professional who not only knows how to compile financial statements, but also has the ability to interpret them, identify potential risks, and draw meaningful conclusions. A broad business perspective and the ability to connect financial data with operational processes are key to success in this position.
It should be expected that a major part of the recruitment process will be conducted in English.
Month-End Process:
- Actively participate in and coordinate activities to ensure a smooth and efficient month-end closing process
Statutory Financial Reporting:
- Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with the Polish Accounting Act
- Submit required reports to GUS
Audit:
- Collaborate with external auditors by preparing audit deliverables and ensuring timely responses to inquiries
Group Financial Reporting:
- Perform IFRS16 calculations
- Support group-level financial reporting requirements
- Address ad-hoc requests from the group reporting team
Intercompany Reconciliation:
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of intercompany balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies
Other:
- Ongoing reconciliation of GL accounts
