For one of our Clients, a leading global company from the tobacco industry, we are currently looking for a Data Team Leader.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Team Leader to manage a team delivering Strategic Insights, Operational, and Data reporting. The person in this role will lead continuous improvement initiatives to standardize, simplify, and optimize reporting processes across markets and central functions. This position plays a key role in developing and enhancing reports and analytics, supporting market transitions to a shared service model, and ensuring that performance KPIs are consistently achieved. The role also serves as a key liaison for knowledge sharing, onboarding, and cross‑market collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for managing reporting operations within a specific cluster (markets and/or HQ functions), ensuring knowledge retention, workload balance, and performance KPI achievement.
- Keep the team focused and motivated, support their professional development, and provide learning opportunities.
- Lead projects within the Center of Excellence to design new tools and analytical models, and improve existing ones.
- Support the Process Manager in reviewing and assessing new market requests.
- Generate and analyze reports for the Marketing Strategic Insights team to help identify actionable insights and support business objectives.
- The Team Lead will report to the Central Process Manager and will support the management of the team, without full line management responsibility.
Expectations
- 5+ years of relevant experience in FMCG, BPO/Shared Services, or related industries.
- Team management skills to coach, develop and motivate individuals.
- Excellent understanding of Marketing & Sales reporting processes and related business areas.
- Project and time management skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- MS Office (Advanced Excel and PPT).
- Power BI (Developer Background).
- Creation and adoption of analytical models.
