Position Summary
We are looking for a Service Center Repair Engineer to provide frontline and back-office support to repair technicians in our Bydgoszcz service center. This role combines technical expertise with analytical skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize repair processes, and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance to repair technicians for complex issues.
- Act as the first point of escalation for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Manage repair documentation, workflows, and system updates to support back-office operations.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround time, and improve quality.
- Analyze repair data and performance metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop tools, processes, and best practices for repair operations.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
- Participation in audits and preparing audit proof processes.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in electronic repair or service center environment.
- Strong background in troubleshooting and technical support.
- Skills:
- Capacity to diagnose hardware/software device faults.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred).
- Familiarity with repair tools, test equipment, and software systems.
- Languages: Fluent in Polish and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payment terminals or similar electronic devices.
- Advanced knowledge of ESD standards and IPC soldering guidelines.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
