Opis stanowiska
- Generate and distribute monthly rent invoices to tenants.
- Track rent payments and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
- Establish and maintain accurate lease records within the accounting system.
- Manage tenant onboarding and offboarding processes, including security deposit handling.
- Record and reconcile rental income in the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure adherence to lease accounting standards such as IFRS 16 and ASC 842.
- Collaborate with property managers and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
Profil kandydata
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in property or lease accounting.
- Experience with property management systems such as Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio is advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and lease accounting standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and commonly used accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others.
