Currently we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Chatbot Developer as we are supporting our partner in developing Business Intelligence team within Global Process Management unit. The team is developing new global generative AI chatbot solutions that will help Operating Companies (OpCos) to run their daily operations smoothly.

Over the past years, the Global Functions - Supply Chain, Commerce, Finance, Procurement and IT - have worked together to create a common set of core processes, embedded in a standard ERP system. These were delivered to OpCos (Operating Companies) in Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Carribean under one programme. The Global Process Management organisation now supports these OpCos in Business-as-Usual mode to help them continuously adhere to these process standards and improve on their performance.

This role is designed to provide critical technical support to the lead chatbot developer while actively contributing to the success of key delivery projects. You will have the opportunity to share ideas and help shape the architecture while focusing on hands-on development and integrations.

You will join a dynamic, innovative team working on impactful global projects that leverage the latest advancements in conversational AI.

Chatbot solutions play a critical role in automating processes and enhancing user experiences across supply chain, finance, and commerce. Your work will have a tangible impact on global operations.



You are a good candidate if:

  • You have experience with Azure, Azure App Services, and Azure Cognitive Services
  • You have development skills (5+ years in IT) and at least 2 years of experience in chatbot/AI solutions using one or more platforms such as Microsoft Bot Framework, Power Virtual Agents, Cognitive Services, or Oracle Digital Assistant
  • You are proficient in .NET C# and have experience with REST APIs, including integration, data manipulation, and usage
  • You have experience and/or some understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and its practical applications
  • You have experience working with Git and Azure DevOps
  • You are familiar with test management and CI/CD pipeline automation for chatbot deployments
  • You have experience integrating backend systems into chatbot solutions
  • You are an excellent communicator, able to explain complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You are a strong analytical thinker and team player, capable of collaborating effectively and supporting the lead in delivering project goals

Nice to have:

  • awareness of emerging technologies and trends in conversational AI
  • experience working in a federated enterprise organization
  • experience with React / TypeScript / JavaScript
  • knowledge of ERP or CRM system integrations
  • experience with SQL queries and database management
  • understanding of Machine Learning principles and related technologies
