Step into RedStone – the fastest-growing blockchain startup – as a Backend Developer

The salary for this role (B2B contract): 20 000 - 35 000 PLN + VAT

? About Us

RedStone is a fast-growing Polish blockchain startup revolutionizing oracle infrastructure. With our 45+ person team, including over 50% senior engineers, we deliver scalable, secure, and low-latency off-chain data to smart contracts across multiple chains. We’ve secured over $6B in TVS, raised $15M in Series A funding, and were recognized by  Forbes as the top VC-backed startup in Poland .

Backed by leading Web3 names like Arrington Capital, Stani Kulechov (Aave), and Gnosis, our team includes alumni from Google, OpenZeppelin, and major crypto projects. We work remotely across time zones, with a Warsaw HQ for deep work and collaboration.

? About the Role

We’re looking for a Reliability Engineer — someone who sits at the intersection of backend engineering and DevOps. In this role, you’ll ensure the scalability, performance, and security of RedStone’s oracle infrastructure by deploying, monitoring, and debugging critical services.

You’ll not only automate infrastructure and monitoring but also dive into the codebase (Node.js, Go, Rust) to debug, fix, and extend backend components when needed. This is a hands-on, high-impact position for an engineer who loves both clean architecture and resilient systems.

? Our Tech Stack

  • Backend: Node.js / TypeScript, Go, Rust

  • Blockchain: Solidity / Yul

  • Infra: AWS (ECS, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, S3, DynamoDB), GCP, Terraform, Docker

  • Monitoring: InfluxDB, Grafana, CloudWatch

  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions

  • Databases: MongoDB

  • Frontend: Vue.js (hosted on Vercel)

? Responsibilities

  • Ensure high availability and reliability of RedStone services across multiple chains and environments

  • Deploy and operate applications on AWS, GCP

  • Develop and maintain monitoring pipelines (InfluxDB, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.)

  • Debug, fix, and extend backend services (mainly in Node.js, Go, and Rust)

  • Automate infrastructure tasks with Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Contribute to system and protocol design with a focus on performance and security

  • Conduct security reviews and performance profiling for both infra and backend code

  • Write clear documentation and internal tutorials for DevOps and debugging processes

✅  Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development and/or infrastructure engineering

  • Strong coding ability (preferably in Node.js, Go, or Rust) with proven debugging skills

  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)

  • Familiarity with async/event-driven frameworks for data processing

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)

  • Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and performance profiling tools

  • Strong grasp of security best practices in distributed environments

  • Diligence, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving mindset

? Bonus Points

  • Experience running and maintaining blockchain nodes

  • Background in Web3, DeFi, or blockchain protocols (sidechains, rollups, modular infra)

  • Participation in hackathons, programming competitions, or open-source projects

  • Experience with distributed systems and low-latency architecture

  • Familiarity with the Solana ecosystem

? What We Offer

  • Fully remote or hybrid work (Warsaw HQ at Zgoda 3)

  • Competitive salary + token allocation (after 3 months)

  • Private healthcare & Multisport card

  • Flexible hours & pre-agreed paid service breaks

  • Top-tier equipment (MacBook, external displays)

  • Long-term stability (Series A closed, backed by top investors)

  • Regular team off-sites, hackathons, and Web3 events

  • Full ownership over your work & decisions

  • A rare opportunity to build foundational infrastructure for the future of finance
