We are looking for a passionate and proactive Reliability & Resilience Specialist to join our team at ING Poland. In this role, you will help drive the adoption of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and strengthen our operational resilience in close collaboration with global teams.
responsibilities :
Apply and support Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices in alignment with ING’s global SRE strategy
Collaborate with the Operational Resilience team to ensure systems are stable, reliable, and prepared for unexpected events
Take ownership of resilience-related tasks, including risk identification, system robustness improvements, and recovery planning
Support the Major Incident Manager in managing critical incidents, performing root cause analysis, and enhancing incident response processes
Independently lead and coordinate assigned initiatives, working closely with Architects, DevOps teams, and thematic guilds (e.g., Testing, Developer, Observability)
Promote a culture of reliability and resilience by sharing knowledge, organizing learning sessions, and helping teams adopt SRE tools and methodologies
Monitor and analyze key reliability metrics (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets) and recommend improvements based on data insights
requirements-expected :
Solid understanding of SRE principles
Experience working with technical teams such as DevOps, infrastructure, or software engineering
Ability to lead tasks independently and collaborate across teams and geographies.
Strong communication skills in English (B2) and Polish (C1/C2)
Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
Interest in Operational Resilience topics, including risk management and recovery planning
Experience in a global or matrix organization, or working with distributed teams is a plus
