Are you a servant leader passionate about delivering real value through cross-functional collaboration and Agile best practices? We’re looking for a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to guide our Agile Release Train (ART) and drive successful software deliveries that truly impact the end user.
As a RTE, you’ll play a key role in coordinating multiple Agile teams, ensuring alignment between stakeholders, product management, and engineering. You’ll facilitate program-level processes and execution, coach teams on Agile/SAFe practices, and remove impediments to flow. Your focus will be on continuous improvement, delivery efficiency, and cultivating a culture of ownership and transparency.
Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Your responsibilities
- Facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) and lead program-level Scrum ceremonies: PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and engineering to prioritize features, manage dependencies, and ensure timely releases.
- Drive continuous delivery improvements by optimizing Agile processes and removing delivery roadblocks.
- Ensure alignment of delivery with business goals, managing risks and external dependencies.
- Track KPIs, delivery metrics, and report status to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Promote Agile culture across teams through coaching, mentoring, and servant leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Project Management Methodology (PMM), GxP standards, and documentation practices.
Our requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software delivery and Agile environments.
- Solid experience as an RTE, Program Manager, or Agile Coach in large-scale environments.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SAFe framework.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills – you're someone who brings people together.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Familiarity with content management systems and solution architecture is a big plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) are a plus.
