We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach and Release Train Engineer for our customer - a global leader in convenience and fuel retail, operating in 26 countries and territories, with close to 14,200 stores. It is also one of the largest independent convenience store operators in the United States and a leader in the convenience store industry and road transportation fuel retail in Canada, Scandinavia, and the Baltics.

Your tasks

• Coach the lean-agile mindset and practices to members of the agile release train, including scrum masters, agile team members, and business owners
• Take care of communication within the ART and build a one-team mindset
• Optimize the flow of work through the agile release train
• Help the product manager prepare for PI Planning and ensure the vision, roadmap, and program backlogs are ready
• Support teams with feature estimation and the aggregation of estimates for larger pieces of work such as epics
• Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process that drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning events
• Manage risks, and dependencies and resolve impediments
• Capture program flow metrics, and other useful metrics, to support relentless improvement

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in software development projects
• At least 2 years of experience as a Release Train Engineer
• Strong expertise in working in a SAFe environment
• Excellent understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe
• Superior communication skills with all levels of employees and both internal and external stakeholders
• Previous work as a Scrum Master with significant Agile experience, who worked in SAFe
• SAFe and RTE certifications are welcome
