This role will be within the Digital Identity Sub Value Stream (DI SVS). DI SVS is focused on identifying and working with some of the most interesting external vendors from around the world to provide cutting edge products to the wider bank and our more than 40 million global customers.
One of our most strategic products is a global Digital Identity Validation & Authentication service that provides any market with the ability to verify a person’s identity, via an API integration. We partner with a selection of third-party vendors to deliver real time identity and anti-impersonation checks as part of a digital journey.
Our product enables customer to capture their government issued identity document (including passport, driver’s license, national ID card) and verifies the document’s authenticity. This is then combined with fully digital anti-impersonation check.
responsibilities :
On the SVS DI level you will be responsible for: coordinating and aligning ART activities with the DI SVS’s goals, planning support including PI & QBR, ensuring accuracy and completeness (e.g. agenda, invites, breakouts, product management readiness).
You will set up, maintain Confluence and JIRA spaces ensuring a high standard of information management at SVS area level across dashboards, roadmaps and reports for capabilities, features and RAIDs.
You will support SVS to define high quality OKRs and automate reporting to track the achievement of these, streamlining and automating reporting across SVS (including QBR) as well as monitor the Value Stream Metrics values for DI SVS, making sure the expected thresholds are reached or implementing corrective actions.
You will be helping the ART manage and mitigate risks and dependencies, including early identification of bottlenecks and roadblocks and will track and if necessary - escalating, an identified impediment.
You will also serve as a liaison between product management, development, and delivery teams as well as support and drive DI SVS Scrum Masters towards common goals, support SVS leadership to embed Change Framework and drive continuous improvement in ways of working and tooling across the SVS, upskilling and holding the SVS leadership accountable for Agile ways of operating.
As part of this job you will be acting as a Scrum Master and will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of working software from concept to live using Agile methodologies, helping to align business goals with release plans to ensure timely delivery of features, fostering collaboration among teams and protect the team from negative external influences or distractions as well as ensuring constant inspection and adaptation through agile ceremonies: daily scrum, sprint planning, refinement sessions, discovery sessions, sprint review, and retrospectives.
You will be challenging engineering team to improve on process and inspire them to find new better ways of working and will help to identify and mitigate delivery risks.
You will be driving, tracking, and communicating the progress of sprints and releases.
requirements-expected :
Proven experience in scaling Scrum as well as experience in RTE role would be a plus.
Strong practical experience and understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, and TDD
Solid stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience working in teams delivering complex projects on time and schedule, resolving problems at team and organization level.
Experience in estimation techniques and planning for software development projects.
Exposure to and experience in full development cycle: design, coding, test, deployment, and maintenance.
Demonstrable ability to self-manage, be proactive, take ownership, build relationships, and drive solutions through from inception to production.
Experienced in managing team delivering product utilizing cloud services as well as SAFe® Release Train Engineer certificate is nice to have.
