We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our dynamic team and manage the release cycles of software projects in the fuel/retail industry. This role will ensure that all software releases are well-coordinated, streamlined, and in compliance with industry best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a multinational environment, ensuring smooth and timely releases to deliver high-quality software to our customers.

Your tasks

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases for fuel/retail projects
• Implement and maintain release management best practices, including change and incident management
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex release-related issues, providing effective solutions
• Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to manage deployment pipelines
• Ensure releases are aligned with agile methodologies and contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced work environment
• Work with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS to support deployment and release activities

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in release management or similar roles in software development and deployment environments
• Strong knowledge of release management best practices, change, and incident management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multinational teams
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in software releases
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
• Fluent in English and Polish, with at least C1 proficiency

Nice-to-have requirements

• Certifications in ITIL, Agile (SAFe), or DevOps practices
