As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that new releases to the banks technology platforms and applications are planned and executed efficiently, with the highest quality for customers and operations, and in compliance with the banks standards.
You will be working with many different stakeholders such as other release managers, Test managers, Product owners, Execution leads, Scrum Masters, Operations teams, etc, to secure a safe and successful delivery.

responsibilities :
Coordinating, planning, and maintaining the release roadmap for one or more applications.
Release and deployment planning and coordination of multiple parallel releases
Planning release go-live and post-go-live activities.
Planning, coordinating, and tracking change activities throughout the release process
Leading release decision meetings to secure stakeholder approval for each release milestone.
Planning and setting up handover sessions from development teams to operations teams
Increasing release quality and efficiency by integrating new techniques, automation capabilities, and DevOps ways of working to release orchestration.
requirements-expected :
IT project management and planning skills (5+ years).
Previous experience from release or deployment management activities (preferably from the banking sector).
Experience working with incident, problem, and change management tools and processes under the ITIL framework.
Confident working with Project Management tools (Jira, Confluence).
Experience in working with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
Basic understanding of DevOps ways of working.
Have great communication skills and fundamental technical knowledge to communicate with the development team(s) and create & validate deployment runbooks in collaboration with the team.
Have the passion to work with industry-leading Release Orchestration tools to create automated release pipelines with the help of technical experts.
Bachelors/Masters degree in IT or related disciplines.
Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
Be an analytical person with great coordination and planning skills.
