We are looking for a ‍ Release/Change Manager. This role is crucial for ensuring that software releases and IT changes are managed effectively, minimizing risk, and maximizing efficiency



‍ Responsibilities:

  • Release and Deployment Management: Plan and coordinate software releases and IT changes to ensure system stability and reliability
  • Change Process Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of change processes, from initiation to implementation and review, ensuring compliance and business requirements are met.
  • KPI Development: Create and implement KPIs to measure the effectiveness of release and change management processes. Regularly review performance for improvements.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Partner with development teams to create automated tools for software development and deployment.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance the release management process and provide tools to streamline release and change flows.
  • Integration and Deployment: Enhance integration and deployment using GitLab’s CI/CD pipelines with control checkpoints.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication about project statuses, impacts, and outcomes.



‍ Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2+ years in Release/Change Management roles, preferably in tech-driven services.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills using tools like Jira, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins.
  • Problem-solving: Excellent capabilities, able to work under pressure.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and write clear reports.
  • Technical: Background in scripting languages (Python/Bash) for automation, experience with GitLab for managing CI/CD pipelines and integrations with tools like Jira and Slack.
  • English: Advanced written and spoken
