Who we are looking for
Corporate Compliance in State Street Bank International GmbH, Poland Branch is seeking to recruit an experienced Regulatory Relations Officer, based in Poland with an immediate effect. This role will be part of the Global Regulatory Liaison Office supporting both the State Street Bank International GmbH and State Street Corporation regulatory interactions process.
The candidate should have around 5 years experience in the financial services sector, compliance, audit or risk management, present high personal standards, tact, and diplomacy.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office in Krakow, Poland (at least 2 days per week), to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As Regulatory Relations Officer, you will:
Assist in the management of relations with regulators (this includes direct contact with regulatory bodies)
Coordinate and participate in preparation of various types of regulatory submissions
Prepare comprehensive reports for internal management
Ensure submissions are of appropriate quality, meet regulatory requirements as well as corporate goals and standards
Liaise with key internal stakeholders such as the EMB, ERM, Internal Audit, CAO, Legal, IT etc.)
Develop and maintain respective policies and procedures to assure consistent, efficient and compliant regulatory interactions and reporting process
Provide effective challenge and guidance on regulatory submissions
Coordinate the scheduling process for in person and virtual meetings between State Street and regulators, both ad-hoc and recurring
Ensure logistical arrangements for meetings with regulators are in place (dial-ins, rooms, building access, drinks etc.)
Assist in the preparation, collection, and submission of materials ahead of and following meetings with regulators
Perform other tasks as required

University degree in economics, finance or related field
Around 5 years experience in the financial services sector, compliance, audit or risk management
Understanding of custody and asset servicing/management business
Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
Familiarity and experience in analyzing large data sets, and any relevant software associated with that activity, would be an advantage
