Head of Tax Regulatory Transformation at SGCIB (Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking)
As a regulatory project manager, you will lead improvement and transformation projects within the global scope of SG Corporate & Investment Banking by providing all sponsors with the services required to successfully carry out projects and by identifying and managing improvements to processes and tools.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to project scoping: analyse existing processes, propose organisational solutions (modification of processes, scope of work) or work with IT teams to obtain IT solutions (evolution of information systems); challenge IT estimates and submit them for validation; participate in the definition of project governance.
- Participate in the implementation of projects: draft Business Requirements; coordinate various Corporate & Investment Banking actors to respect the project planning; frame, write and execute test plans; participate in change management (preparation, implementation, training, support, functional assistance to users).
- Manage project follow-up: organise and lead project committees; manage the timeline, project progress and anticipate risks of delays; alert hierarchy in case of planning slippage; ensure the quality of deliverables (content, formalisation, clarity, readability).
- Establish and maintain good relationships with partners: be attentive to requests; respond to queries with reactivity and sense of service; develop expertise on regulatory issues.
- Lead deployment of Tax matters, independently or as part of a team: securing market activities to US tax obligations (e.g. QI, QDD, 871m, 1446(a)&(f), chapter 3…); implementing solutions to ensure compliance of market activities with Financial Transaction Taxes; preparation of future US regulations (e.g. 871m extension to non-delta One products, section 899…).
