Regular/Senior Software Engineer-C/Embedded - ORAN technology - L1 physical layer-Tietoevry Create (m/f/d)

As Software Engineer, you will join our Radio/Baseband Unit where you will have a chance to work in one of our fastest-growing projects - FlexRAN/OpenRAN (5G) development/customization/integration (L1, L2, L3). We are working using reference architecture with the Open RAN ecosystem to build and deploy highly optimized, feature-rich, 4G and 5G scalable cloud-native RAN solutions on Intel architecture.

Location: Wrocław or remotely

We expect you to have:

1. Above all… ability and willingness to learn and to work in an agile cross-functional team
2. Advanced C programming skills
3. Telco – L1 physical layer domain knowledge
4. Data/Packet processing knowledge
5. Good knowledge of embedded software design principles
6. Optimization techniques and writing performance-critical code
7. RTOS and/or Linux knowledge
8. Git versioning knowledge
9. Experience in work with CI/CD environment
10. At least good command of English and communication skills

Nice to have:

1. Experience in Model-Driven Development
2. Experience with troubleshooting (GDB, crash analysis)
3. Experience in CI/CD environment
4. Knowledge of writing scripts and automation will be an advantage
5. Familiarity with Advanced Vector Extensions
6. Familiarity with Matlab (5G Toolbox)
7. Knowledge of DPDK libraries will be an advantage
