Currently, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in the CTO area.In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stable and sustainable operation of our data platform. You will take ownership of monitoring, data quality, and automation, define internal standards, and ensure compliance with governance and GDPR requirements.The main goal of this position is to embed technical expertise within the company, enable quick responsiveness, and build a solid foundation for BI and AI applications.

Development and operation of scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
Ensuring the stability, monitoring, and performance of the data platform.
Automation and standardization of processes (CI/CD, testing, deployment).Responsibility for data quality, documentation, and lineage in accordance with internal standards.
Implementation of privacy/security by design and GDPR requirements.
Close collaboration with data architects on architectural and platform decisions.
Supporting BI and data science teams by providing reliable data products.
Continuous optimization and innovation in the areas of cost, efficiency, and scalability.

Several years of practical experience in data integration, data modeling and data pipelines.
Experience in operating and monitoring productive data platforms.
Experience with enterprise-wide data platforms or complex data landscapes.
Very good knowledge of programming languages for data engineering (Python, SQL)
Experience with data ETL/ELT frameworks (e.g., Databricks)
Very good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Additional certifications in cloud data platforms
Ability to build and operate stable, high-performance and scalable data pipelines.
Ensuring data quality, lineage and documentation.
Proactive approach to automation and standardization of processes.
Contribute to architectural and platform decisions together with data architects.
