Your MissionsJOB SUMMARY
- Taking ownership of the Business Unit’s Veterinary Services Strategy within a Country / several Countries, in line with the global guidelines created by the managing Product Managers.
- Collaborating closely with the Business Unit Managers, Sales-, Marketing- and Accounts Team Leaders, in order to align the Strategy with the Sales Forecasts.
- Within Business Units - working with Zone / Corporate Leaders to understand, implement and adapt the Veterinary Services Strategy at CER level, and ensure the communication of key messages.
- Coordinating Countries for new launches and assessing / aligning Zone team levels.
- At CER level - ensuring Technical training / information sharing for the full organization, and supporting the Marketing-, Customer Services - and Sales teams actions.
- Ensuring local feedback is consistently shared at Zone level.
Accountabilities
Collecting & Analyzing Market Data / Generating Market Insights
- Collect ad - hoc reports and Customer requirements, in order to identify and validate business opportunities.
- Actively give feedback on the market’s status, needs, changes and products.
Providing Strategic Direction
- Co‑develop, carry‑out, and cascade, the annual Marketing Plans for the Range’s portfolios by defining actions/tactics/ priorities and sharing them with the local teams.
Operational management
- Collaborate with the Sales/Key Account teams contributing to Customer Plans.
- Closely collaborate with Marketing team to make sure strategy and project plans progress.
- Manage communications/governance and oversee the Public Relations agency/ outside vendor activities.
- Organize, co‑organize and/or participate in Customer meetings, congresses, symposiums etc., in order to promote products/ranges.
Resources Management & Planning
- Support Sales - and Key Account teams in Range negotiations with Customers.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain-, Finance-, and Customer Relationship Management teams to provide, and receive, reliable local business data.
Ensuring Product Leadership
- Be accountable for product leadership by creating a high internal/external level of confidence in Products.
- Define, with the local team, the Business Plan, based on the Global Strategy created by Corporate and cascaded by the Zone.
Managing Customer Needs, Relationships & Market Penetration
- Build and/or improve the relationship with Customers, by sharing information that demonstrates value to them.
- Conduct regular Key Customer visits, and provide professional consultations, as needed.
Providing Customer Guidance & Advice
- Provide technical and scientific advice to Customer- and Sales personnel.
- Deliver Expert support and diagnoses, as needed.
Ensure Training, Education & Knowledge Management
- Ensure technical training of the Business Unit’s local organization, supporting Customer Services/Sales team activities.
- Develop training on technical activities, with the aim of sharing this knowledge with Key Customers.
Collecting & Reporting on Customer Feedback
- Define specific Customers’ trials.
- Gather information from Veterinary Services Specialists and Key Customers.
Scientific Expertise Management & Networking
- Build networks with Animal Health institutes, laboratories, universities, Key Opinion Leaders, Equipment Suppliers etc., in order to stay abreast of new technologies and collect new insights.
Your Profile
Master Degree of Veterinary Faculty with 5 years relevant work experience
