Regional Procurement Head EMEA | Cracow based

Global engineering company with modern production facilities across Europe, specializing in the development and delivery of high-quality products, services, and solutions for industrial clients.

The Role

Regional Procurement Head, reporting to the Procurement Director Europe, plays a strategic and influential part in shaping and executing regional supply activities, driving cost optimization, supplier performance, procurement analysis and process excellence. The successful candidate will ensure full alignment with the Group’s overall procurement and business objectives, supporting sustainable growth and operational excellence across the organization. He/she will oversee domestic direct material sourcing for all manufacturing facilities within the region, as well as regional indirect and logistic services spend management.

Responsibilites

  • Contributing to the development and execution of procurement strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective supply of materials, products and services.
  • Oversee all procurement domains across direct and indirect spend, logistics, and procurement intelligence, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Foster strong supplier partnerships, driving continuous improvement in delivery performance, quality, sustainability, and risk management.
  • Lead strategic negotiations and supplier agreements to achieve optimal commercial terms and long-term value creation.
  • Leverage market insights and data‑driven analysis to support decision‑making and enhance procurement performance across the region.
  • Drive process excellence across end‑to‑end procurement operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with Group policies.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in a comparable senior procurement role within a global, results‑driven organization, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead within a complex, fast‑paced, and multicultural context, working effectively across diverse geographies, particularly with teams and suppliers in Emerging markets.
  • Agile, flexible, and resilient, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on results and strategic objectives.
  • Highly driven and ambitious, with a proactive approach to achieving business excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a strong grasp of market dynamics, cost drivers, and risk management.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Portuguese/ Spanish/ German language is an advantage.
