As the Regional OES/AM EMEA Buyer, you will be responsible for leading, developing, monitoring, and maintaining active cost‑cutting global programs to achieve defined Purchasing KPIs for the assigned commodity. You will prepare and participate in productivity budgets with suppliers, work closely with commodity specialists to define and develop commodity strategy supporting the division business plan, participate in VAVE reviews and workshops, and resolve supplier performance issues in a fair and ethical manner with Marelli interests as a priority.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, monitor, and maintain active cost‑cutting global programmes to achieve the defined purchasing KPI for the assigned commodity.
  • Prepare and participate in productivity programme budgets with suppliers.
  • Work closely with commodity specialists to define and develop commodity strategy to support the division business plan by identifying trends and anticipating potential gaps in the supplier panel.
  • Participate in VAVE reviews and workshops to support purchasing initiatives.
  • Resolve supplier performance issues in a fair and ethical manner while prioritising Marelli interests.

What qualifications you will bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience (sales experience acceptable).
  • Fluent English, German preferred.
  • Experience in automotive and/or industrial components is preferable.
  • Strong learning agility, team‑player attitude.

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • Engineering or economics degree with technical skills.
  • Experience in metal or wire harnesses.
  • Target‑oriented mindset.
  • Commercial and technical negotiation skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel (maximum 20 % of time).
