Job Description
- Partner with Commercial leaders and/or functional leaders to design and implement local people strategies and initiatives.
- Ensure that organizational structures, systems, and culture enable effective business performance.
- Lead talent management and organizational development projects, adapting global strategies to local realities.
- Identify and address critical talent and organizational challenges.
- Balance enterprise priorities with regional requirements.
- Lead organizational change and development initiatives to ensure sustainable impact.
- Deploy global employee relations frameworks, policies, and tools, tailored to the legal and cultural landscape of Central Europe.
- Lead and develop a team of local People Advisors, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
- Promote effective people management practices and provide HR expertise to local business leaders.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions across the region.
- Lead local consultation processes with employee representatives and social partners.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal governance standards in each country.
- Monitor and report on employee relations trends, risks, and opportunities across Central Europe.
- Coach managers to build employee relations awareness and strengthen leadership capability.
- Manage and mitigate employment-related risks for the business.
The Successful Applicant
- min. 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2-3 years in a people management role.
- Proven experience leading and developing HR teams.
- Strong track record of coaching and supporting leaders to achieve people and business objectives.
- Experience managing HR policies and processes in an international or matrix organization.
- In-depth knowledge of local employment laws and industrial relations within Central Europe.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and support organizational transformation.
