As a Regional Asset Manager, you will play a key role in implementing asset care strategies across multiple sites, ensuring reliability, cost optimization, and alignment with global standards. Acting as the link between global asset management and regional execution, you will drive governance, capability building, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is highly visible and central to Barry Callebaut’s manufacturing excellence journey, including the rollout of our BC Operating System (BCOS) with a focus on Progressive Maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and track regional asset performance projects and roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery aligned with business priorities.
- Analyze loss intelligence and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and lead structured problem‑solving.
- Support sites in adopting global standards and governance processes, translating them into practical regional execution.
- Build site capability through coaching, training, and deployment of best practices in collaboration with SME communities and BCOS coaches.
- Act as a hub for regional problem‑solving and knowledge‑sharing, fostering a culture of data‑driven decision‑making.
- Support deployment and standardisation of digital platforms (Maximo, MES) and ensure data accuracy for decision‑making.
- Drive improvements in safety, reliability, quality, and efficiency through PM and PdM programs.
- Participate in maturity assessments, benchmarking, and Gemba initiatives to accelerate the region’s Go4Zero ambition. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Maintenance, Engineering, QA, CI, Manufacturing) and global governance structures.
About you
- You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering and have at least 10 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or asset management, including multi‑site leadership.
- You bring strong project management skills and experience with TPM, Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
- You are fluent in English (additional regional language is a plus).
- You have solid knowledge of CMMS (preferably Maximo), MES, and digital tools for predictive maintenance.
- You are skilled in data analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and structured problem‑solving.
- You can balance strategic vision with shop‑floor detail and turn strategy into action.
- You are a confident facilitator and influencer, able to engage stakeholders from operators to senior leadership.
